High five right back at ya! And best of luck with the writing. It’s hard. And frustrating. And amazing. And exhausting. And exhilarating. Now, to answer your Goodreads-mandated question, no, I will never, ever write a series. I tried, under a different name, with a concept I loved and characters I adored. Alas, my publisher at the time decided it didn’t want a second installment in the series BEFORE the first one was even released. I was heartbroken, and swore I’d never put myself in that position again. So it’s standalone books from now on.

I just finished "Final Girls" and thought it was excellent. I am a huge horror fan and you really captured the essence of what makes a great slasher flick. I read the entire book in a few hours. What was your inspiration for the book and what is your favorite slasher flick?

I dont have a question, i just wanted to let you know that The Last Time I Lied was one of my favorite books ever. Literally. I stayed awake until after 3am because i could not put it down, then i was late to work the next day and ultimately used some vacation time to leave work early so i could go home to finish the book. Amazing book. Thank You! Where did you get the idea for this novel? Did you ever attend a camp?
