Goodreads asked Shelby Wilde:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Shelby Wilde My best piece of advice for writers is to put a manuscript away for at least two weeks after you finish the rough draft (or after the first revision is complete). You need distance for a fresh perspective. My advice is similar with writer's block: Make sure you have multiple projects going on at the same time so when you his a block with one, you can put it away for a while and work on another. When you come back to it weeks later, it's like magic. No more writer's block!
