My biggest inspiration comes from reading books, particularly fantasy. I also am inspired by the people around me. Every attractive male lead in my stories has some physical aspect the same as my husband, usually the green eyes. I also listen to how my kids think and what excites or scares them and use that knowledge for my picture books.
