I always loved writing growing up and wrote lots of poetry and short stories in high school and college. After college, I went through some hard times and stopped writing for a while, but I joined a local writing group that met once a week and I slowly got back into it. After a few weeks with this group, I started developing characters, and those characters became a book. (This was an unpublished book, not one of the Alan Cole books.) So it's been an interesting journey so far. Thanks for asking!
