Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kris Pearson The most recent is 'More than the Money', and I wanted to write the last of my Heartlands trio and wrap up a couple of other story-lines. I also wanted to write a cowboy. Well, I live in New Zealand, a long way from cowboy country, so I created Rory - a kiwi boy who'd been sent to live with family on a ranch in Texas. Sixteen years later I brought him home - a fully fledged cowboy, but still a kiwi at heart. His cowboy-speak is a combination of Texas and New Zealand so no-one's going to be too offended and find him 'wrong'.
