Hey Paul, thanks for being my new favorite author. Honestly, I cried when I read A cabin at the end of the world, and I couldn't sleep last night after I finished A head full of ghosts, because I was scared. You are doing a great job and I enjoy reading you a lot. So my question is: do you plan on writing a sequel to A head full of ghosts? Or a story focus on Merry, cause I LOVE HER and I don't want to say goodbye!
Paul Tremblay
Thank you, Pierre-Luc. I'm so pleased the books worked for you.
Never say never, but there's no plan to write a novel sequel to A Head Full of Ghosts. But, I have written three four short stories with connections to AHFoG. Three of which will be appearing in my collection GROWING THINGS AND OTHER STORIES (July 2nd, 2019). The title story is the 'growing things' story that marjorie tells merry in full form. There's a novella called "Notes from the Dog Walkers" which might feature the reappearance of the blogger. The final story in the collection, "The Thirteenth Temple," takes place after AHFoG. The tell-all on Merry's life has been published and she's at San Diego Comic Con being interviewed. After, a rabid fan confronts her in her hotel room. Merry decides to tell the fan a Marjorie/Merry style story called The Thirteenth Tower.
There will also be a short, fun story coming in April that also features Karen Brissette, but I'm not allowed to say in what magazine that will be appearing just yet.

Paul Tremblay:
Paul maybe this has been asked before and excuse me if it has .. I am currently reading " A headful of Ghosts". I am enjoying but having trouble pacing it linearly .... I had assumed the novel was "set" in current day with the past events of the possession 16 years in the past, but many cultural / pop references make this impossible, so does that mean the "present day" narrative is actually 16 years in our future ?

Hi, Paul. You may have already answered this question, but I didn't go back very far in the question section. When did you start writing and what brought you to it? I think that I first read you in an anthology but don't remember which exactly. I read both novels and short stories. I enjoy anthologies for the reason that I find new, lesser known authors to read.
