Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ciarán Mc Mahon It actually developed out of a paper I wrote for The Psychologist (which you can read here (https://thepsychologist.bps.org.uk/vo...). When writing that paper, I simply wanted to summarise the psychological research on social media. But when it was finished, I realised that I had to cut out a tonne of material to make the word count. Afterwards, I was surprised to discover that no-one had written the 'psychology of social media' already, and very quickly I had a book proposal written.
