Hi Lois, Love your series, especial Cordelia's and Miles', read them all and got friends and family hooked on your books too. Most recently, Flowers for Vashnio, nicely done. I was wondering if we will see Miles sleuthing around again any time soon? Also, how does one go about requesting a review for their published work? Re: your other question, others on the internet would be more up to date on these PR issues than I am.
On that head, I've lately received a slew of stealth attempts to parasitize my blog or Q&A with covert ads, links, and promotions for other people's totally unrelated books. I thought the first few might just be clueless newbies with bad netiquette, but as they've kept coming I suspect someone is telling new writers to do things like this. Don't.

A long time ago, I asked you about feeling "bookicidal" (your word) about my own work. Your answer was empathetic, and I've carried it gratefully all these years. But now I have pressing financial concerns and a beta-reader who is so uninterested that she wants me to send her the Cliff's notes. I can't pander to that: I can only despair in its wake. I have been thinking of possible ultimate reasons for the Bastard to play "match maker" between Pen and Des. Thinking of what Cazeril and others went through after being picked by one or more of the Five Gods, has me wondering if Pen and Des are supposed to do something to "fix" the rotten government system in Cedonia?
