How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jonathan Michael Erickson Keep writing! The way I see it, it would be better to spend an hour writing something that ultimately doesn't make it into the final draft than to spend that same hour wringing my hands about what I should write. The act of actually writing something - even if it's not that great - keeps the creative process flowing and can generate new ideas and perspectives to enliven the work.
