Yes. Subterranean Press will be doing a collectable hardcover edition like the Penric tales. Projected publication late July. I've just had a look at the cover art by Jenn Ravenna, very nice, so things are in train. Nice interior design, too.
While it is on the shorter end of the novella range in word count, about 23k words, paper publishing economics are the same and so will the price be, $25. It's also a binding that will stand up to library use. (If what you want is a cheap reading copy, you need to turn to the e-edition.)

The first of your stories set in the world of the five gods that your public has seen is The Curse of Chalion. Was that the first one written? And, can you (briefly) outline your thoughts behind this world? I know that a lot of energy can go into backstories that the public never sees, but I would love to hear about some of them.

So Lois, my so distant Georgette Heyer muse, on your advice I have read the Toll-Gate, The Unknown Ajax, and finally The Reluctant Widow. Surprisingly, as a 61 year old Aussie guy, I've thoroughly enjoyed her works. What next? Is it too early for Cotillion, or do i not know enough of the various tropes she suberts in that book?!

I've been reading your Vorkosigan saga novels for two months and yesterday I had a "shower thought" and I'd like to know if I'm guessing correctly: the 'Vor' prefix is the reverse of 'rov', which is a suffix used in many russian names. Am I right? I tried to read some of the names in reverse and they sound quite alright (at least for my 'romanian ear').
