How do you get inspired to write?

Lucian Bane Frist, I look at my bills.

Then, I start to get ideas from just about everything I do. In life, news, books, movies, songs. It's like my mind is a page (or an unpaid bill?) and everything that goes in it subconsciously gets plotted into an idea until one of them hits the ding ding ding button in my conscience, and it reverberates with inspiration throughout my skull. Then it seeps into my blood and itches under my skin, all the way to the tips of my fingers that I must, I absolutely must scratch against the keyboard.

But not a Mac keyboard. Eff Mac.
