My mother was very involved with the Women's Movement when I was a kid, so she made sure I was learning about women in history at an early age. She portrayed Susan B. Anthony on the League of Women Voters float in our towns Bicentennial parade.
When I was in third grade, I dressed as Victoria Woodhull for a school presentation and told all the details of her life, including her support for Free Love.
Looking back, it was inevitable that I would write this book. I had so much in my brain that needed to be written down.
