Lois Welsh
Lois Welsh asked Chris Enss:

Hello Chris: I just finished reading The Trials of Annie Oakley. I have a question. In Chapter 8 it says that on November 20, 1922 a car sped to a hospital with Annie Oakley--because she was in a car accident-- then a few paragraphs later it says According to the November 12, 1922 edition of the - Annie was nearly crushed to death. My questions is how did an article written BEFORE the accident know what happened?

Chris Enss The corresponding newspaper date should be November 22. This error is being correcting for the third edition of book. It's always makes me sad when this kind of thing happens. I hire an independent editor/fact checker and the book goes through four editors from the publishing house before it goes to print. Guess you can't catch everything no matter how many eyes see it. Thank you.
