I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed hearing you at the 1000 Islands Writers Festival. I have a 13 year old grandson who is non-verbal, autistic. He very much enjoys humorous picture books and we find that he has been able to learn from them. But the problem is that there aren't many books out there that would fit his needs or enjoyment. Might you consider writing to this type of audience? Thx!

I REALLY enjoyed "The Agony of Bun O'Keefe!" I read it in one day because I just couldn't put it down. Thank you for addressing topics such as families come in all shapes and sizes, sexual abuse, grief, and suicide. The one question I have, and not sure you would even have an answer as not all suicides have an answer, but why did you decide that Chef would take his own life? Thank you.
