Goodreads asked Neal A. Bringe:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Neal A. Bringe We know from Scripture that peace, joy and hope come in believing the truth (Romans 15:13). So parents have no greater joy than to hear that their children are walking in the truth (3 John 1:4), God’s Word (John 17:17). My experience in Jesus, is that the Holy Spirit assists us in understanding His Word through the testimonies of creation. For example, the heavens pour out speech and reveal knowledge every day to make us wise (Psalm 19:1-2, 7). I encourages families to plant gardens (Jeremiah 29:5) and manage native habitats (Isaiah 5:8). Then meditate on God’s works (Psalm 145:5) and see God’s wisdom (Psalm 104:24). God’s works shall speak of the might of His awesome deeds. In this way, through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, parents can help the next generation declare God’s greatness (Psalm 145:6) and have hope. After God questioned Job about His creation of mountain goats, donkeys, horses and hawks, Job said: “I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you; therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:5-6). This is a core need in the Church, compelling me to author books for families like “All Creatures Pour Out Speech: Testimonies of Wisdom,” that include devotions and personal photographs.
