How do you get inspired to write?

Susan Liberty Most often, my inspiration to write comes from past experiences that are personal to me. There are times world events move me to write. It's always something that hits me emotionally. Though all my stories are fictional, they do touch lightly upon truth issues: what a person perceives to be true versus the real truth. Broken Promises also touches gently upon social issues: child hunger and abuse, family structure, and social norms.
