Hi Lori, Do you enjoy your job? If you had to do it all over again, would you train in psychotherapy a second time? I am thinking of going back to uni to do a BA in Psychology then onto an MA, so I can eventually train to be a psychotherapist. I would like to hear from qualified psychotherapists to see if they think the job is worth all the training? Any advice is gratefully received.

Hi KJ! If you read my book, you'll know that the answer is a resounding YES. If you're thinking of becoming a therapist, I think my book will help with your decision by showing you what the day-to-day is like. It might be for you or it might not be--but at least you'll have more info.

Hello, I read your book Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, and I thought it was amazing! I reviewed it on Goodreads, if you're interested in my thoughts on it. I related to it tremendously since I have also been struggling with numerous undiagnosed symptoms. The fatigue and pain, as well as the fear you describe when it comes to telling others, are very real to me. I wanted to know how are you feeling today?

I'm thinking about talking to a therapist. I am ashamed about it and will not tell anybody. Why do you think people are so uncomfortable with the concept of talking to someone about a problem? Do you think I can resolve my problem (former best friend has distanced herself from me) in just a few sessions?
