How do you deal with writer’s block?

David Darling I have found that I never did experience "writer's block" as described by others. For me it was a matter of motivation to actually sit down and write, and make the time. Over the year it had taken me to write the novel, my father passed away after a brief illness. For a long time, the desire to sit down and write was the last thing on my mind. That part I found very difficult, and I lost my focus. Time does not heal all wounds, but time does make things more bearable.
