Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mckenna James My book Royally Schooled was inspired by the classic "Sound of Music" story. Instead of being a governess, my heroine is a tutor. But I love the idea that a forbidden love can sometimes spring up between a woman with a position in a household where class is an issue, and the man at the head of the household. The intimacy of domestic life lowers boundaries and allows people to cross class barriers and follow their heart. I find it to be quite a romantic theme.
