Goodreads asked Paul Lubaczewski:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Paul Lubaczewski Accept rejection. It is a part of the business, and auto-rejections don't care about your talent level. Use it to learn, find out what you can do better, figure out your bad habits, and if you really don't see what's wrong with the piece, keep sending it out. Sometimes it's just a bad fit between your piece and that magazine or publisher, there's lots of fish in the see, find the one that takes your bait. But while you're doing that NEVER STOP WRITING. No one piece makes or breaks your career, but not writing does.
