I'd wanted to be a writer my whole life. My other writer friends from college became teachers, or went into journalism, but I didn't want anything else telling me that I was a writer. What I mean is, a journalist or an editor can still feel like a writer, even if they haven't touched their novel in weeks. But I didn't have that, if I wasn't writing, then I wasn't a writer, and if I wasn't a writer- Well not being a writer was an unacceptable idea.

I am really delighted by all your answers to readers, Laura. Especially your honesty, where you said that you will not continue with the sequels or prequels for this stand alone novel. Not read the book entirely, just started with it; but yes, do tell me where do you get your writing inspirations from?
