Hello Brad I‘m a first start reader of Pike &Co , needless to say that this is actually the best Serie(you only have to look at the worldwide quotes) How can it be possible that each new novel tops all the others. I think that in Daughter of War the acknowledgment gives a pretty good inside look of how things work out . How much time do you invest into research , in Daughter of War everything was accurate?Daniel

I don't know an actual hour figure, but it would end up in the weeks category. Each book requires a ton of research, but only about ten percent of all that work ends up on the page. First I'll start with books and the internet, and then I'll conduct a research trip. If I can get my boots on the ground, I will. For Daughter of War I wasn't stupid enough to go to North Korea, but I did travel to Monaco, France, and Switzerland.

Brad, When can we get past the "relationships" and all that talk? And Aaron and Shoshana are starting to get old. We get it. She's crazy and he's sane and they work together. "One Rough Man" is still my favorite out of the entire series because it shows Pike being the world's greatest badass. Can we get more like that? I love this series and I've read all the books, but it's becoming a little too soft IYAM.

I know there are others so much more qualified than I; but I am curious if you are aware of the character mistake in Chapter 64 of American Traitor? At the end of the first scene you have noted that Veep went into a bathroom when clearing the apartment. This should have been Brett because Veep was out front in the bushes guarding the front door.
