Hello Colleen! I just discovered you through a social media recommendation. I would love to try your books! Would you suggest where to start? I tend to read a flight of books from one author so just need to get started :)

That's a great question. My books are all over the place. Some are YA, some are New Adult, some are Women's Fiction, one is a thriller and one is a mistake. lol
I usually start people with It Ends With Us. It means the most to me, so that might be a bad idea to start with the one I like the best because that would mean they might all be downhill from there. Or start at the beginning with Slammed, but it's YA, so it depends on what you like.
Maybe Someday or Ugly Love might be good places to start. I don't know! I guess that's my answer.

Hi, I just finished "Regretting You" I really enjoyed it. You managed to make me angry, sad, hurt and hopeful for each and every single one of your characters. My question is, how little or how much say/control over your characters do you feel you have? Do they sometimes run away from you and tell their own stories? Or do you manage rein them in, and know exactly where they're story is going from start to finish?
