I have 'read' (listened' to ) all 4 & am now excitingly expecting for the 5th The Stolen Boys. Just like waiting to meet up with an old friend. Thank you, Ms Ellis, for bringing Jackman and his team, his world to us. Those hours while I was driving to work and back, the story you created have been my company, my entertainment and a pristine example of one person's creativity can touch many, many souls. Right?

Joy sniffs and grabs a tissue! Thank you Katherine for such kind words, it makes writing all worthwhile. To be honest, there are times when I dread sending the books to the editor as I'm terrified that they won't be good enough and then I'd be letting my readers down, but somehow, thank heavens, they seem to work. And I am SO lucky to have Richard Armitage as my narrator. He IS Jackman, and now he always will be in my eyes. Thank you again and stay safe driving to work with Jackman and Marie! x

I think they’re fabulous, much more life like, and there’s no nastiness at top level (sure this isn’t the case in real life?) I think Nikki is my favourite and Joe, but really can’t put a pin between them. Just what we all need in isolation. Thank you for brightening our lives in these troubled times x

Hello Joy: I thoroughly enjoyed your book "The Murderer's Son" which I just finished on Audible. I do have a question that I was hoping you might comment on? The story begins with discovery of the farmer's body, the first murder victim. Then there does does not appear to be another reference to this character. Progressing through the book, the "murder count" seems to totally ignore this poor man.

Hi Joy, I just wanted to say what a delight it is to read your DI Galena series. Having started with book 1, I quickly fell in love with the characters. I've just started on book 13 and I'm hoping Nikki and Joseph will still be solving murders when they're in bathhchairs 😁 ⚘ Would I be right in thinking you had a full dossier on each of your main characters before you began the series? Regards, Lyn
