I was wondering when your second Gothic Myths book will be published? I love all your series but I am really looking forward to another book that one.

Hi Erin! Thank you so much! I do need to post another update on that series. I have been steadily working away on Book 2 whenever I have time. The trouble is that series is not under contract, and so I have to honor the commitments made to the publishers of my other contracted series first. Sadly, though I am close to finishing Gothic Myths 2, I have had to set it aside once again to honor my next contracted deadline. BUT I WILL finish Book 2 early next year. (I've built the time into my schedule.) And since that series has a faster turn-around to publication, it should be available next summer. I apologize for the loooong wait. I've been extraordinarily blessed with the additions to my family and new contracts over the past years, but that has also eaten into my time to work on this series, which for me is a labor of love. So I promise it is coming. And barring any unexpected calamities, you can expect it next year.

How do you come up with your ideas? The plot that kicked off the whole series - being an anatomist's wife - is a very interesting idea! And each mystery after is always a unique story as well. Do you have a process that helps you come up with ideas or do they just come to you?

I’m confused, because up through book 3 of the Verity Kent series, I was sure she was already 23 years old, but now that I’ve started book 4, I read that she is soon turning 23. (Chap.1 takes place in October 1919.) Could someone at Kensington perhaps check this for you? The reason I care is because I’ve been adding the series characters and bios to the GoodReads database, so I don’t want to get anything wrong. Thx!
