I have enjoyed Gin Blanco a lot and have the entire series except for your new book coming out which I will try and get via Amazon. I also love this new series with Everleigh Blair. Did you have a certain theme in mind when you started to write this particular book? Will you have a few books in this series coming up? I did buy the 2nd book in this series and noted that the next book will be next year.

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying my books. I appreciate that.
SHARPEST STING, Elemental Assassin #18, will be out on Oct. 8.
CRUSH THE KING, Crown of Shards #3, will be out on March 17.
With KILL THE QUEEN, Crown of Shards #1, I wanted to write about a heroine who watches, listens, and learns. Someone who is really strong, but who is also underestimated and dismissed by everyone around her. Plus, I have always wanted to write epic fantasy, ever since I started reading epic fantasy in high school. So those were some of the reasons why I wrote Evie and KILL THE QUEEN.
I am hoping to write more in my Crown of Shards world, maybe about a different character. I should have some news to share on that soon.
Thanks again and happy reading!

I've heard the Crown of Shards series is actually a trilogy, but the way the last book ended (not that it was a cliffhanger) and all those unanswered questions make me think there is more to come? I mean, I would like more. :) Do you plan on writing more Crown of Shards books?

Why did you abandoned Donovan Craine after the second book? I feel like those two had great potential to overcome their prejustice and grow in their character till they finally get together. Despite that, I did enjoy your other series and Gins fiestyness :D still do, I reread Mythos academy quite regularly :-)
