Two questions: First. Were The Crown Tower and The Rose and The Thorn ever released in hardcover? Second. I bought Age of Myth and Age of Swords in a brick and mortar store and they are therefore not signed, although they are first editions. Is there any way to get my books signed to complete my signed set? (Pre-paid shipping on my part both ways perhaps?) Your books are awesome, keep up the great work.

Hey Brad,
Thanks for asking. So...none of the "Orbit" Riyria books (Theft of Swords, Rise of Empire, Heir of Novron, The Crown Tower, the Rose and Thorn) were ever released in hardcover -- they ONLY put out those books in trade paperback. That said, they DID sell the bookclub rights and some low-quality hardcovers were made as part of that subsidiary deal. In the case of the Crown Tower and The Rose and Thorn, the Bookclub edition was an omnibus called "Blood of Thieves" which has both The Crown Tower and the Rose and Thorn in it.
Now, that said, we have bought the rights from Orbit to produce hardcovers of all of their copies - unforutnately they are limiting the number of copies that can be made, and I'm pretty sure they will sell out almost immediately (They will only be available from us).
As to your other question about shipping books here for signing -- yes, you can do that. I'll PM you the address.

Hi Michael! I just finished Revelations and I am currently on Chronicles. Unfortunately I’m not much of a reader because of my ADD, but the way you write Riyria like a movie has helped SO MUCH. Thank you for that!! One of my favorite supporting characters throughout Revelations was Wyatt. What was your thought process in writing his story specifically? Have him and Allie always been together? What happened to her mom?

I have just finished reading Hollow World and thought it extraordinary particularly for your insights into the intractability of human nature across time. If you are considering a sequel, I'd be most interested in knowing how the Pax character would be developed. Also, can you tell me what some of your stronger influences came to bear on your concept of Hollow World and its inhabitants?

Hello! I just finished The Death of Dulgath (FANTASTIC book, btw! Possibly my favorite so far!) and I have a question regarding nationalities. I think it’s awesome that your world of Elan is so diverse in its human population, so I wanted to know with all the different nationalities, were there any real-world races or ethnicities you drew reference from when describing the people of different nationalities in Elan?
