What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kim E. Wilson You have to find the time to dedicate yourself to writing. That seems so simple, but that's really what you need to do. Find a designated place, carve out a chunk of time, and do it. I spent years thinking about writing "Bird." But, I never put pen to paper until earlier this year. Once I started, I didn't stop. Also, get yourself a good editor. It will make all the difference in the world. Be willing to put yourself out there, it's scary, and yes, there will be detractors, but you'll find many who will champion your work. Either way, if you want to write, do it! Do it for yourself! Good luck!
