What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kim E. Wilson It's my ability to be totally independent and a free bird. I am the mistress of my own pen. No one can tell me what to write or how to write. I can travel places I've only dreamed of, surrounding myself with characters of my own creation. It's the most liberating thing I've experienced in my life. I write for me, but I am humbled and thrilled by all the folks who let me know they enjoy my writing and are waiting for the next piece.
