Goodreads asked Dave Terruso:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Dave Terruso I usually get blocked when I come to a plot hole, or when I'm not sure how to dramatize a scene. To break the block, I go for a long walk or run on the treadmill, get my blood pumping while I'm thinking about the next scene I'm writing. If that doesn't work I'll watch a movie or play a video game. Distraction and movement are my tools. I try to never just sit in front of the computer and stare at a blank page.
