Clark Smeltzer

Brian Keene:
Hey, Brian, I just finished reading Ghoul and this was the first time in my life I've read a book with a character that shared my name. I have to say, I wish he'd met a more grisly end at the hands of the ghoul, but at least he got what's coming to him. Naturally, I have to ask how you chose the name?
Brian Keene
Ha! That's pretty awesome. All of the characters in Ghoul (with the exception of Nelson LeHorn's cameo) were named by me walking through the cemetery where I used to play as a kid, and picking a first name off a tombstone, and then a last name off another tombstone. So there was a Clark and there was a Smeltzer, and mash them together, and it's you! ;-)

Brian Keene:
Good day Mr. Keene, I appreciate the opportunity to ask a question. I would like to know if there are any plans to resurrect any of your "out of print" book from your library of work. IE: Fast zombies suck, Unhappy endings, Running with the devil, ETC.. in either print or digital format? Also, are there any plans for the future for appearances or book signing anywhere in the pacific northwest?

Mr. Keene. I just attended a class reunion where some friends praised your books highly. I was wondering where I'd ran across your name before when I realized I had happened across The King of the Bastards somewhere. It seems difficult to get. You know if its still available? Or it will be available in Amazon Kindle version if nothing else? Thanks,

When are you going to write another zombie..... LOL, I can't ask you that question with a serious face. No seriously my real question is about your second self published short story collection called "All Dark, All of the Time: The Complete Short Fiction of Brian Keene vol 2." Will it still come out early in 2015? ^_^ Thanks again for being so awesome to your fans.
