I went through a period of hair loss and I thought I'd end up bald. To deal with my worries I wrote it into a story and explored the issue of trophy hair. From there it made me think about all the weird and wonderful people vying for their space in the city and what they do to achieve that. And from there, 'Urban Creatures' was created.
