Hi Kathie! Thanks for your question! I started writing in October, 2002. I remember when it was I started writing books exactly because we were on our way to enjoy a family weekend in the mountains. On the long drive up there, I said to my hubby, "Ya know, I've always wanted to write a book like The Fionavar Tapestry." I swear I didn't KNOW I wanted to do that until the words came out of my mouth, but I knew they were true! LOL (I'm an extrovert, and tend to do most of my thinking with my mouth, lol.) So right then, I knew I wanted to be an author, and I knew I had to be a GREAT author (like Guy Gavriel Kay, the author of the Fionavar Tapestry) because I wanted to move people like he does. I love you for asking a question! Thank you! <3 <3
