Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Connie Schultz My working-class roots have driven my writing career, as a journalist of more than three decades, and now as a novelist. So, of course "The Daughters of Erietown" explores the lives of a working-class family. However, I am ever-mindful that our roots are our beginnings, not our excuses, which is a common theme in my work.
