Goodreads asked E.K. Adams:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

E.K. Adams Stop waiting for the ‘perfect’ moment to write—it doesn’t exist. Sit down, put words on the page, and embrace the chaos. Your first draft will probably be a hot mess, but that’s what editing is for. Also, don’t listen to that little voice telling you your writing isn’t good enough—it’s a liar. Keep going, write the story you want to read, and remember: published books aren’t better than yours, they’re just finished.
