Write. As a writer who does this professionally, I can't tell you how many times I hear, "I want to write a book." or "I enjoy writing." The difference between those who aspire to do it and those who are doing it - is simply a matter of actually doing it!
Decide what you want to write, commit to doing it, write the book and decide how you want to release it (if you do). Publish it the traditional track or indie or both (like I have). Just do it.
