Goodreads asked M. Never:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

M. Never I would tell every aspiring writer to first ~~~ Follow their dreams! You and only you can make your dreams come true, so don't be the one who also is responsible for holding you back.

Second, set goals & deadlines: even if you are going to be an indie author ~ pace yourself as if you have an editor waiting and deadlines must be met. This will slow or stop the procrastination :-)

Third, understand your own limits. It is hard to write, work, take care of the family and even more ~ know how much time you can realistically set aside each week to write ~ this will keep you from feeling overwhelmed by unrealistic expectations ~ even authors need sleep!

Last, once you are done with your book ~~ Beta readers & Advanced Copies (ARCs) can help point out errors and give invaluable feedback. Establish a group to review your work, then listen to their feedback and make the changes! ~
