Can we get a story were Erik goes to all out war with vampires of another world, and I mean war. Not running away like in Nexus or doing espionage like in Flintridge but full blown, the vamps tried to chomp on the little person, strapped C4 to Bronze and held a preschool hostage level of angry Erik War. Don't you think that would provide the perfect backdrop to illustrate just how different Erik is compared to vamps?
Garon Whited
Yes and no. While the vamps implied are cold-blooded, ruthless individuals, Eric is quite capable of matching them for sheer ruthlessness and, I'm sorry to say, bloodthirstiness. Sufficiently provoked, it would serve less as an illustration of how different he is than how much alike they are. The motivation and methods might be different, but the qualities coming to the fore would be much alike.

While he doesn't have much practice at it I was just wondering, is Erick actually bad at necromancy? I just finished reading dragon hunters and Erick just whipped up four soulstones on the spot that a highly trained wizard with years of study on the subject says are so advanced they break the laws of magic. Is it just another case of his skewed self image of himself?

Has Eric ever considered making another Bronze—perhaps a dog version, or just even a more permanent dog companion? While they don’t seem to last, Eric seems to enjoys dogs; I believe he’s had several over time. He had security dogs in his first book with Sasha. Then in book three (I think), he got Francine, another dog for protection. Much later, he got Gus.

I find your series amazing, sometimes a little slow for my taste but it always seems to be for a good reason. I love the idea of the constant problem solving of an alien world through the biased eyes of a human science lover. My question relayes to all mentioned science/presented concepts: is it all actual proven/shown to be most probable theory? If so, it's even better. Cant wait for book 5.
