A graphic novel noir mystery trilogy with son Adam; a Holocaust novel based on Hansel and Gretel called "House of Candy;" the third book of the fantasy trilogy with son Adam, as yet unnamed; a book of over 100 punny animal poems called (right now) Animal AnARKy; a verse novel "Finding Baba Yaga", a book of morbidly funny poems called "Last Laughs: Prehistoric Epitaphs" with J. Patrick Lewis; a book of poems about fairy tales from the pov of objects called :Grumbles from the Cauldron" with Rebecca Kai Dotlich. And anything else that surprises me along the way. I also have about fifteen or so picture books already written out being looked at by editors. Yes, I am a busy writer!

I devoured The Devil's Arithmetic in a few hours one evening and was stunned when I found out you've written 350+ books. Do your ideas come from anywhere in particular or all across the board? If you get a good idea, do you let it stew in the back of your mind for awhile or immediately jump on writing it?
