Hi Robin. I love The Love Story duet and both are on my top ten book list. I just stumbled across you books when I was at the library and made sure to borrow them. What made you come up with Sam and Lucy and how did you come u with their story?

Robin Huber Hi Henriette. I'm so happy to hear this. And thank you for the wonderful review! My stories are almost always born while listening to music. In this case, I was sitting at a railroad crossing, mindlessly watching a train go by, listening to Demi Lovato's "Lionheart". By the end of the song, I had envisioned Sam and Lucy, their entire backstory, and the last scene of the first book. :) I was also inspired by the movie Southpaw as I began writing the story. I wanted Sam to be as real and raw as Jake Gyllenhaal's character Billy Hope. (If you haven't seen Southpaw, you should watch it! It's fantastic.)
