No, I'm sorry to say I've never followed it up with further reading that uses the same perspective to analyze subsequent events down to the present. (Outside of the field of Biblical studies, I'm not as well read in nonfiction as I'd like to be.) But I've added the Mishra book to my "maybe to read" shelf. Thanks for that tip; you stay well too!
