Hi Natalie I'm sorry to hear about your husband's illness. I wanted to ask a more personal question but then realised it was totally insensitive and stupid as I don't even know you. So my question is just this: How many times have you read Pride and Prejudice in your life and is it a book you turn to during certain challenges over the years?
Natalie Jenner
Thank you, Steven, for your kind words about my husband. He has managed to significantly slow down his lung decline through the few treatments available for his disease (IPF), and at present remains as healthy on the outside as most. As for my all-time favourite book "Pride and Prejudice," I am not sure how often I have read it, but I suspect it is somewhere between five and ten times. It actually feels like even more times than that to me, because of how often I have also watched the film and tv adaptations. My life is just one big murky Austen soup at this point!

Well that is wonderful news! I can’t wait to read it. Sounds like a setting I will love! Honestly I have read mostly non-fiction for years but The Jane Austen Society rekindled my love for fiction. Can’t thank you enough! Take care and happy writing! Will you keep us updated please?

Just wanted to tell you, Ms. Jenner, that I just finished "The Jane Austen Society". I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recalled how, after I read Pride and Prejudice I asked you on here what I should read next you answered "Emma". I read "Emma" and enjoyed it as well. I loved in the opening chapters how Mimi tells Adam he needs to start with Pride and Prejudice and then Emma. Thank you for the same good advice? Next please?
