I'm so pleased you took the time to tell me that. Before social media, it was so difficult for me to send messages to authors whose books I devoured. Funny you should ask about more books. I wrote a sequel to The Henna Artist, and the publisher already bought it. We're working on edits now. It's the same characters, 12 years later. I missed them so much that I had to write about them again even though I have 2 other book ideas started! Thank you for your question. :-)

Hi Alka! I'm so late to the party in just reading The Henna Artist, but was swept away. So already have the new book & love that it centers on Malik. How was the beautiful cover was chosen for THA? I was struck when you mentioned BLUE hibiscus! Had never heard of that. Your descriptions are so vivid! What a beautiful paean to your mother this book is. THANK YOU for writing these.
