First I want to say that I enjoyed your first two Kitty Hawk books and just ordered #3. Also, several of my adult friends ordered your books because of my recommendation. There is an incredible amount of research in the two books that I've read. Do you personally visit these places? Linda B.

Hello Linda! First off, thank you for your question/comment and of course thank you for enjoying the Kitty Hawk books! You're on to #3 now, that one's a bit different, but also a good one! (Which then brings you to #4 - my favourite!) Now for your question: Yes, I do indeed visit all of the places that appear in Kitty Hawk books. I think the places she visits are as much characters in the book as the actual characters themselves. I like to call my visits to these places "research trips" but I guess they are just holidays - but "research trips" sounds cooler, don't you think?

Hi Iain, Read your book Dragon of the Month Club. I have one question. When you have let go of your imagination throughout the book, why was the magical book called The Book? I found it very interesting that you would withhold your imagination here and let go of it through out the novel. Review coming up soon. And thanks for writing it. My 8 year old just loved it.
