Sabine Campbell
Sabine Campbell asked Lucky Stevens:

Hi Lucky, Congratulations on reaching the Amazon Best Seller. I just have my first Austin Maccauley published book and it is for sale on Amazon and I am wondering if you have any marketing tips for a novice such as myself? Thanks, Sabine

Lucky Stevens Hi Sabine, thank you very much. I looked you up on Amazon and I definitely think one of the best things you're doing is writing in the same genre/style so that people who buy one of your books, are more likely to purchase another. Even better, I have heard, is to write a "series"--like (this may not exactly apply to you) the same detective who has multiple adventures in different books. Maybe you're doing this already--looks like you have a trilogy of some kind. I wish I could tell you more. There is so much trial and error. You might consider Bublish as your distributor--they help to bring readers to you and give you a chance to connect with them in a very interesting way (Google them/talk to them--they also have a lot of marketing ideas and their standard "membership" is very reasonable and great if you have multiple books ($99/year regardless of the number of books)). Hidden Gems is supposed to be good for getting reviews, especially for romance-based books. I am trying out Bargain Booksy this weekend--you put your book on sale and they publicize it to a wide audience. I am also pretty active on Twitter. I hope this helps at least a little and my very best to you!
