How do you get inspired to write?

Emi Zako I wanted to write children's book since 1998. I started to illustrate Shuta. I used to use the illustration to tell a story of Shuta to my daughters when they were young. They told me "Mom, you should write this story."

Now, I get inspired every day when I see children reading my books. Some readers (parents) sent me or post their children's pictures with Shuta books and they tell me how much they love Shuta. That inspires me the most.
