How do you get inspired to write?

Sencha Skeete I get my inspiration from everyday life. I'm a bit of a daydreamer and something I see on TV or hear in passing might kick off internal storytelling. If the story I'm telling myself gets interesting then I see if I can develope it into something worth writing down.
