In November, my new title "Great Short Books: A Year of Reading--Briefly," will be published by Scribner. As I struggled though the pandemic lock down, I swapped "doom scrolling" for the insight and inspiration that come from fiction. But I focused on short books. The result is a compendium of 58 great short works, ranging from Voltaire to Colson Whitehead, and what I learned from them. It is a joyous celebration of reading.

Regarding Don't Know Much About® History [30th Anniversary Edition] released this month: Where does the timeline leave off? 2019? or earlier? I borrowed and read the 2004 edition years ago, but want a copy of my own :) thank you for your excellent work and writing! kevin
