I write when I am moved. It's also a function of age, I believe. My teenage years were formative in my writing journey, at that point it was a wonderful way to resolve my teenage angst and frustrations. Now, as a young working woman I feel like I have graduated in my poetry as well and it is based on the world outside of me more than the the world inside of me. My inspiration these days comes from people - people are amazing!
