Being a writer gives me a platform to provide hope and inspiration to women who have travelled a similar path to me. I love hearing that my memoir has sparked curiosity or courage in women who are struggling with being single in a society that teaches you that in order to succeed, you need to find a man. The best thing about being a writer, for me, is knowing I might have a positive impact on someone's life, simply by telling my story.
